This in turn can contribute to food sensitivities (which can manifest as allergies, gas/bloating, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, skin conditions, etc), systemic and localized inflammation, cancer, autoimmune conditions, etc...
Dr. Robins uses several tools to evaluate your nutritional and gastrointestinal status. In addition to performing a thorough intake and physical exam to identify underlying factors, she also utilizes a seven-day diet diary to look for any potential foods which may pose an obstacle to healing. She deeply evaluates standard labs to assess overall health, and also implements advanced speciality labs, including food sensitivity testing, micronutrient panels, and stool analysis, on a case by case basis to analyze patients' nutritional and gastrointestinal status.
